Hello Ranchers!!!

I hope each and every one of you enjoy your Thanksgiving break. You all deserve every bit of it! Please keep in mind that we have only 3 weeks until the December holidays. Following those holidays, we have only one week of regular instructional days followed by exam week. Please remember that exam week is always the last 5 days of the semester. Of course inclement weather can always adjust our days. Please let the counselors, grad team (Rainey and Phillips), as well as grade level admin know if there are concerns with students that need our extra motivation to finish strong. Keeping it simple in this week's Round Up.....

Hello Ranchers!!!

Thank you to everyone who made yet another Senior Speech night very successful!  Great job to all!

A short week is ahead of us. Please make sure your expectations and instructional delivery is no different as we approach this holiday.  Students will be excited this week and we need to stay on the path. No parties, movies, etc. Thank you in advance!

Please take the time during this break to relax and enjoy time with those you love. I am a very thankful Principal knowing I have the best staff around. You all are the BEST!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Only 2 more days left in the United Way campaign! Thank you to all who have contributed so far. We want to continue our Reign as the Highest Supporter of the High Point Schools. Making a pledge can cost pennies a day but help with so many lives. The first payment will be paid in January.

For Incentives, We Offer Comp Time for our Pledgers:

A pledge of $50	½ Day Comp Time
A Pledge of $100	1 Full Day of Comp Time
A Pledge of $200/More	2 Full Days of Comp Time

Mr. Miller will place Certificates of Comp Time in your boxes while working Saturday School and as they come in. Please use the slip to give to Mrs. Harris for your comp time Logs/ use.

As an added incentive, Staff that pledge at least $120 entered into a drawing for a New Car! I have placed the drawing cards in your boxes. Complete the form and There are two more drawings left… (Currently, a teacher at SW Elementary is in the semifinals for a new car, so it is real, and REAL CLOSE!!)

Hello Ranchers!!!

This coming Tuesday, we distribute interims to all students from all classes. Please make sure you have been contacting parents so they can better assist you. Ds and Fs need contacts as well as when a student drops from an A to a C. The following 6 weeks will fly by. Please make sure they realize that when they return from the December holidays, we head into review followed by exams. 

Please think about serving as a judge on our Senior Speech Night, November 19, 2019. The evening begins with dinner at 5:00 pm.

We will begin listening to student speeches at 6:00 in 15 minute increments until 8:00. A judge's scoring rubric will be provided for you.
