Week of March 4

Hello Ranchers,

First and foremost, this coming week we celebrate School Social Workers. We are very privileged to have THE BEST Social Worker, Mrs. Michelle Phillips. If any of you have worked in other schools, you will agree with me that having a good, let alone the best Social Worker does not come often. Thank you Michelle Phillips for all that you do!

Registration planning is underway!  Counselors have met with all students except for a couple who were absent on the day that we met with their English classes.  Counselors will be meeting with these students next week.  

The registration window will be open for students to complete the online registration process 3/8-3/17.  Instructions will be shared with parents regarding the process. 

Interim Reports go out Thursday.  Please make sure all students who are in your class on Thursday get their interim report. We need to do a better job of distributing these reports. Knowing ahead of time should eliminate the multitude of reasons as to why these reports are not getting into a student's hands. Thank you. 

Grading must be put in PowerSchool each week. If you think as a parent who wants to be an active part of a child's academics, it is hard to play that role when there is no documentation to respond to. Please keep the grades updated each week, and make sure you are providing enough grades as you navigate through the semester.

Please reinforce to the students to be wearing the cards around their neck. Look how happy she is wearing that lanyard!
